A family story<\/h3>\n

He's first and foremost a man at the root of this field, sir. Henri Brunier<\/strong>which gave birth to the estate in 1981<\/a>in the small village of B\u00e9darrides (Vaucluse department), now known as the southeastern part of the AOC Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape<\/a>. Henri then handed over the reins to his son Hyppolyte Brunier<\/strong>. He obtained plots of land in La Crau. At the time, however, it was inconceivable to grow grapes on such an ungrateful terrain. The density of rolled pebbles made the soil uncultivable.<\/p>\n

Where does the name \"Vieux-T\u00e9l\u00e9graphe\" come from?<\/h3>\n

Jules Brunier<\/strong>Hippolyte's son, enlarged the estate to 17 hectares and named it \"\u00a0Old Telegraph<\/strong>\" . Indeed, in 1821, Claude Chappe, inventor of the optical telegraph, installed one of his relay towers here.<\/p>\n

Then came the war...<\/h3>\n
