Here are the finest vintages:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Vosne Roman\u00e9e Village - Daniel Rion :<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/domaine-daniel-rion-vosne-romanee-rouge_bouteille_3_1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7068\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/domaine-daniel-rion-vosne-romanee-rouge_bouteille_3_1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"222\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"p44\">It comes from several plots totalling 1 ha 90, part of which is in the fragile zone, at an altitude of 250 m, on clay soil.\u00a0<span id=\"54\" class=\"s-rg-t\">silt <\/span>and rather deep clay with vines aged between 35 and 55 years.<\/span><span id=\"p45\">\u00a0The second part is 25 years old and comes from a parcel on the top of a 300 to 325 hectare hill.\u00a0<span id=\"59\" class=\"s-bl-t\">M<\/span>on a fairly steep slope, on black humus soil, <span id=\"56\" class=\"s-rg-t\">gravelot-caillouteux<\/span>very calcareous on scree slopes.<\/span><span id=\"p66\">\u00a0Its subsoil is very chalky and stony.<\/span><span id=\"p47\">\u00a0Vinification is carried out separately, and the wines come from these 2 parcels; blending is carried out at bottling, with ageing on the same plot.\u00a0<span id=\"64\">lees<\/span>\u00a0in 50 % new barrels.<\/span><span id=\"p48\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"p48\">This\u00a0<span id=\"65\" class=\"s-rg-t\">Vosne-Ro<\/span>man\u00e9e is the estate's bouquet of flowers.<\/span><span id=\"p49\"> In this location, the estate also has the lieu-dit Les Violettes, the aptly named after the aromas of this appellation.<\/span><span id=\"p50\"> Cherry and rose scents, the older the wine gets, the more complex it becomes, with a nose of undergrowth, dead leaves and mushrooms.<\/span><span id=\"p51\">\u00a0The tannins are discreet, unctuous and always elegant.<\/span><span id=\"p52\">\u00a0It can age for 8 to 15 years.<\/span><span id=\"p53\">\u00a0It goes perfectly with lightly seasoned game in sauce, tasty poultry such as pigeon, or cheese at the end of the meal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Vosne Roman\u00e9e 1er Cru Les Chaumes - Daniel Rion :<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/domaine-daniel-rion-vosne-romanee-1er-cru-chaumes-rouge_bouteille_1_1-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7065\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/domaine-daniel-rion-vosne-romanee-1er-cru-chaumes-rouge_bouteille_1_1-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"p68\">It is located on a gentle slope at an altitude of 250 m, with a plot of 42 ares and 55 years old.<\/span><span id=\"p80\">\u00a0The soil is fairly deep, not very stony, clay-loam on the surface, clay at depth.<\/span><span id=\"p70\">\u00a0It also consists of spreading on the Oligocene material and\u00a0<span id=\"79\" class=\"s-rg-t\">Plio-Pleistocene<\/span>.<\/span><span id=\"p71\"> Peony, rose, leather and humus can be distinguished in this cuv\u00e9e, which develops with age.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"p72\">The structure of this cuv\u00e9e is supple and solid, accompanied by delicate mineral notes.<\/span><span id=\"p73\">\u00a0It can easily be cellared for up to ten years.<\/span><span id=\"p74\">\u00a0It goes perfectly with guinea fowl with candied prunes, duck with orange sauce and fine cheeses to bring out all the finesse and delicacy of this wine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Vosne Roman\u00e9e 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts - Daniel Rion :<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/daniel-rion-vosne-romanee-1-er-cru-les-beaux-monts-2016.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7069\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/daniel-rion-vosne-romanee-1-er-cru-les-beaux-monts-2016.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"136\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"p83\">This terroir comes from this one-hectare vineyard, which slopes steeply at the entrance to the combe de <span id=\"88\" class=\"s-rg-t\">Concoeur<\/span>\u00a0is consolidated by its high altitude of between 280 and 300 m, facing south-east with a high density of stones.<\/span><span id=\"p105\">\u00a0The shallow, chalky soil on a hard limestone subsoil makes for a concentrated, well-structured wine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"p112\">When the vine is over thirty years old, it has reached the stage of maturity and balance.<\/span><span id=\"p86\"> It is perfectly in the style of the appellation, with silky tannins accompanied by floral notes of hawthorn, wild rose and violet, and fruity notes of cherry and blackcurrant.<\/span><span id=\"p113\"> As it ages, it reveals astonishing truffle aromas and a concentration of candied fruit. With its full body, it will enhance the taste of venison stew, marinated game and white meats.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Les Hauts Pruliers - Daniel Rion :<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/nuit-st-georges-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7081\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/nuit-st-georges-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"122\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"p115\">The terroir consists of a 46 ares parcel, with a kind of terrace on the steep slope, right in the middle of the hillside at 275 m.<\/span><span id=\"p116\"> It is composed of a shallow, chalky-brown soil intermingled with pebbles, clayey loam and <span id=\"123\" class=\"s-rg-t\">chailles<\/span>on hard limestone.<\/span><span id=\"p117\"> Thanks to its age, this forty-year-old vine produces well-balanced, concentrated grapes to produce one of the estate's finest wines.<\/span><span id=\"p118\"> The name of this cuv\u00e9e comes from the small wild plum trees with blue berries found in certain wastelands, whose tannins cling to the gums.<\/span><span id=\"p119\">\u00a0It's sensual and lively, with a rather masculine personality that doesn't go unnoticed by amateurs.<\/span><span id=\"p120\"> This power gives it excellent ageing potential and, with age, enhances the aromas of dried prunes on the palate.<\/span><span id=\"p121\"> It goes well with knuckle of pork, as well as big game such as stuffed wild boar.<\/span><span id=\"p122\"> It also goes well with full-bodied, spicy cuisine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Nuits St Georges 1er Cru les Terres Blanches - Daniel Rion :<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/les-terres-blanches.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7082\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/les-terres-blanches.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"124\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"p127\">It lies at a high altitude between 275 and 285 m, with a steep slope, and a plot of 31 ares, a limestone soil, very stony, and holds a subsoil of very hard limestone that makes Pinot Blanc with its rich and lively character.<\/span><span id=\"p128\">\u00a0It was first cultivated in 1992 and has been confirmed with each passing vintage.<\/span><span id=\"p129\">\u00a0Thanks to Pinot Blanc, Burgundy's indigenous and unique grape variety, the wines are of a certain quality.\u00a0<span id=\"132\">special feature<\/span>. <\/span><span id=\"p130\">Vinification and ageing take place for 12 months in 5 % new oak barrels.<span id=\"p126\">0 %.<\/span>\u00a0This wine brings out <span id=\"134\">minerality<\/span>\u00a0and fruity with notes of pear, exotic fruit and fatness.<\/span><span id=\"p131\"> Goes well with firm-fleshed fish such as monkfish or turbot, as well as seafood or as an aperitif.\u00a0<\/span>There's also a Nuits St George Village, which changes every year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Echezeaux Grand Cru -
