One estate, one story :<\/h2>\n

Visit Family Droin<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0has been involved in viticulture for at least 5 centuries.<\/span>\u00a0Jehan\u00a0Droin<\/span><\/strong>was the first member of the family to cultivate vines in 1547.<\/span>\u00a0He worked as a winemaker, but was also an active\u00a0brandevinier<\/span>\u00a0and master cooper.<\/span>\u00a0The purchase of national property enabled the estate to be enlarged in 1791.<\/span>\u00a0Over the years, the family has continued to manage its wine production and expand the estate.<\/span> In 1923, Louis\u00a0Droin<\/span><\/strong> becomes president of the Union des Propri\u00e9taires Vignerons de Chablis and also of the Syndicat de d\u00e9fense de l'Appellation Chablis of which Jean-Paul\u00a0Droin<\/span>\u00a0is one of\u00a0vice presidents<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0Visit\u00a01983<\/span>Jean-Paul took over the family business, helped by his son Beno\u00eet who arrived in 1999.<\/span>\u00a0Le premier cru\u00a0Vaucoupin<\/span>\u00a0is\u00a0level<\/span> of the Burgundy region's finest white wines.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Exceptional wines :<\/h2>\n

The domaine's palette is very rich, with both grands crus and premiers crus.<\/span>\u00a0The grapes are very ripe and powerful, with an honest expression of their terroir, which lends credence to the work of Beno\u00eet, who has been with the domaine since 1999.<\/span>\u00a0The wines are precious, generous and affordable.<\/span> This estate is a must if you want to find a great white.\u00a0Chablisien<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0The cuv\u00e9es are aged in a balanced manner, and\u00a0know<\/span>\u00a0digest their time in barrel, and the less insistent reductions in their youth have disappeared.<\/span>\u00a0Whatever<\/span> Whatever the period, the wines are visibly mature and ready to age.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
