to discover.<\/span><span id=\"p1\">\u00a0Like most estates, the Boisson-<span id=\"4\">Vadot<\/span>\u00a0remained in the\u00a0<span id=\"7\">family<\/span>.<\/span><span id=\"p2\"> Generations helping each other to make the estate prosper, and propel it to new heights.<\/span><span id=\"p20\"> In this article, I invite you to delve into the history of this superb family estate.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/boisson-vadot\"><strong>&gt; Boisson-Vadot wines in stock<\/strong><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.comptoirdesmillesimes.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Boisson-Vadot-plaque.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" height=\"349\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">A nugget in Meursault:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span id=\"p23\">This area is divided into three constitutions:<\/span><span id=\"p72\"> parents represent the field <strong>Boisson-Vadot<\/strong> with a surface area of 3.5 ha, the threads representing the <strong>Pierre Boisson<\/strong> with 3.5 ha of vineyards and the daughters of the<strong> Anne Boisson<\/strong> with a surface area of 1.5.<\/span><span id=\"p73\">\u00a0<span id=\"74\" class=\"s-bl-t\">Ha<\/span>.<\/span><span id=\"p26\">\u00a0The majority of their plot\u00a0<span id=\"40\">go to<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"41\">visit<\/span> on Meursault d'Auxey-Duresses.<\/span><span id=\"p27\">For the production of their red wine, they have vineyards located in Pommard and <span id=\"43\" class=\"s-rg-t\">Month\u00e9lie<\/span>. <\/span><span id=\"p76\">It is run by the father and son team, Bernard and Pierre Boisson.<\/span><span id=\"p77\">\u00a0Their value lies in managing the estate in a fair and respectable way, so as to get the most out of the different plots and avoid the weakness of cellar vinification.<\/span><span id=\"p78\">\u00a0For their\u00a0<span id=\"79\" class=\"s-bl-t\">wines\u00a0<\/span>They use very little oak, very little in the village wines and the Bourgogne Blanc, and just 30 % for the superior cuv\u00e9es.<\/span><span id=\"p31\"> Pierre Boisson conceived Meursault Village thanks to his grandmother's vineyard, which had an average age of 50 years. <\/span><span id=\"p32\">\u00a0They also produce other bottles from Meursault's finest lieux dits, such as sous la\u00a0<span id=\"63\" class=\"s-bl-t\">Velle\u00a0<\/span>Grands Charrons planted in 1988 and Chevali\u00e8res planted in\u00a0<span id=\"65\" class=\"s-bl-t\">1982\u00a0<\/span>.<\/span><span id=\"p33\">\u00a0Not to mention that the Grands Charrons are very expressive, intense and Le Sous la\u00a0<span id=\"68\" class=\"s-rg-t\">Velle<\/span>\u00a0is the improved version of the Grand Charrons.<\/span><span id=\"p34\">\u00a0Visit\u00a0<span id=\"70\" class=\"s-rg-t\">minerality<\/span> is more noticeable in the cuv\u00e9e Chevali\u00e8res, with fruity aromas that stand out in its youth.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">When Pierre and Anne Boisson take over the reins<\/h2>\n<p><span id=\"p82\">This address is particularly recommended in the Burgundy region.<\/span><span id=\"p136\">\u00a0Over the years, they have built up an impressive following in the region.<\/span><span id=\"p84\"> Unlike today, making a living in Burgundy winegrowing was quite difficult.<\/span><span id=\"p85\"> The name of the estate comes from the merger of the vineyards of Bernard Boisson and his wife, a member of the Boisson family. <span id=\"100\">Vadot<\/span>.<\/span><span id=\"p133\">\u00a0The family includes Bernard the elder, Pierre the son and Anne the daughter.<\/span><span id=\"p134\">\u00a0The current generation at the helm of the estate brings a touch of innovation, while remaining true to the values established by their father.<\/span><span id=\"p88\">\u00a0Since the arrival of the children at the Pierre et Anne estate, the quality of the wines has evolved and become much more refined.\u00a0<span id=\"114\">improved\u00a0<\/span>.<\/span><span id=\"p89\">\u00a0Even after Bernard Boisson's departure, the children took charge of the work on the estate.<\/span><span id=\"p90\">\u00a0Pierre On the nose, this wine reveals aromas of almonds and toast. A mineral wine on the palate with honeyed flavors. There are also citrus notes (notably lime).<br \/>\nIn terms of ageing potential, this is a superb Premier Cru that deserves to be forgotten in the cellar for at least 8 years, so that it can express all its aromas.
