From Pierre Faiveley<\/strong> founder of the estate, to Erwan who runs the family business, 7 generations of winemakers have perpetuated the heritage since 1825.<\/span> Many personalities were involved in building the Faiveley estate, but Georges Faiveley remains the mythical figure.<\/span>\u00a0The estate suffered a crisis in 1929 that destroyed all wine production.<\/span>\u00a0Despite the plummeting economy, in 1934 he joined forces with his friend Camille Rodier to create the\u00a0Brotherhood<\/span>\u00a0Knights of the\u00a0Tastevin<\/span>\u00a0from ancient brotherhoods oenophillic<\/span>\u00a0still in existence today.<\/span>\u00a0Today, Domaine Faiveley is enjoying great success, expanding into Burgundy's most famous climats, with a wide choice of wines to offer enthusiasts.<\/span><\/p>\n
