A short history of the estate :<\/h2>\n

Born in 1944, he created the estate in the late 1970s with the help of his wife Mich\u00e8le.<\/span>\u00a0They recover vines from different generations of the Colin family<\/strong> and family\u00a0Ponavoy<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0These plots, which they have reclaimed, have existed for over 100 years.<\/span>\u00a0They also decided to plant 6 hectares of vines in certain communes:<\/span>\u00a0Montrachet, <\/span>Saint-Aubin and continued to develop the estate in the 1980s and 1990s.<\/span>\u00a0The family has a priority terroir in Chassagne, but it is also linked to parcels in St Aubin, which has the best plots, such as Visit\u00a0Remilly<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Chateni\u00e8re<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span> The vineyards benefit from their sloping location;<\/span>\u00a0while the other part of St Aubin<\/strong> is on flat ground and the wines don't necessarily render better.<\/span>\u00a0The Colin estates are best positioned on the gently sloping hillsides.<\/span>\u00a0The wines that come out of this estate are very tasty.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new era of the domain :<\/h2>\n

\u00a0Today, the estate is run by Joseph, Caroline and Damien.<\/span> Marc's children run the estate, which covers 12 hectares and brings together 26 designations<\/span>\u00a0on the villages\u00a0next:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0SAINT-AUBIN, CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET, PULIGNY-MONTRACHET<\/strong> and\u00a0SANTENAY<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0Pierre\u00a0Yves<\/span> who is the 4th member of the siblings, and who used to work for Marc Colin, has been self-employed since 2005.<\/span>\u00a0The harvesting methods used on this estate are based on the rules of \"culture raisonn\u00e9e\" on the one hand, and organic farming on the other.<\/span> They also help to ensure that the soil is worked regularly, so as to avoid the use of chemical methods and achieve better grape quality.<\/span> They have a traditional winemaking style.<\/span> Joseph makes the white wines and Daniel makes the reds, but they never stop renewing themselves.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Estate wines :<\/h2>\n

They produce wines which are named by appellations\u00a0regional, <\/span>such as Premiers Cru and Grands Cru.<\/span>\u00a0They produce 80,000 bottles a year:<\/span>\u00a090 % of white wines and 10 %\u00a0wines<\/span>\u00a0red.<\/span> White wines are produced in a pure, elegant style with good length.<\/span> Red wines are vinified with freshness, with a hint of crunchy fruit and a hint of sweetness.\u00a0of tannins<\/span>\u00a0silky.<\/span>\u00a0White wines are light, while reds are silky with a touch of wood.<\/span>\u00a0Half the production\u00a0(50 %)<\/span>\u00a0is marketed abroad in over twenty countries.<\/span>\u00a0They also distribute their wine to private customers, wine merchants and restaurateurs.<\/span><\/p>\n
