This domain was created thanks to Chantal\u00a0Lescure<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>and Xavier\u00a0Machard<\/span>\u00a0from\u00a0Gramont<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0in 1975.<\/span>\u00a0It is a family estate which today comprises a 19-hectare vineyard.<\/span>\u00a0It lies to the north on the Dijon hillsides and to the south as far as Meursault.<\/span>\u00a0It has been certified organic since 2006.<\/p>\n

After the death of their mother in 1996,\u00a0Aymeric and Thibault\u00a0Machard<\/span>\u00a0from\u00a0Gramont<\/span><\/strong>,<\/span>\u00a0visit son of Chantal\u00a0Lescure<\/span><\/strong>have taken over the family estate.<\/span>\u00a0They produce 19 cuv\u00e9es from 35 parcels each year.<\/span>\u00a0The philosophy behind this field is quite simple:<\/span>\u00a0produce authentic, pure wines that perfectly reflect their terroir.<\/span>\u00a0The estate is concerned with the life of the soil, the plant and its environment.<\/span>\u00a0They seek optimum maturity through naturally controlled yields.<\/span>\u00a0Vinification is gentle and attentive to each terroir.<\/span>\u00a0Maturing is long on\u00a0lie<\/span>in Burgundy pieces and 500-litre barrels\u00a0(with<\/span>\u00a0moderate use of new wood)<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0The wine is bottled without filtration or fining.<\/span><\/p>\n
