You'll have noticed that the Japanese have this mania for dabbling in everything and anything when it comes to broadcasting, music, commerce, and ... MANGA! However, the Japanese, or at least the authors of the manga \"\u00a0The Drops of God<\/strong><\/em>\" surprised us. Tadashi AGI<\/em> and Shu OKIMOTO<\/em> have shone, with this manga mixed with the world of wine. A real coup, as it can't be easy to share your passion through drawings and wine culture.<\/p>\n

However, the authors have found the perfect marriage with this plot about two brothers fighting over the legacy of their father: a great Japanese oenologist who bequeathed his own prestigious cellar to just one of his sons. Indeed, the father's will challenges them to discover twelve grands crus and the best of them all, The Drops of God<\/strong><\/em>. Very well-crafted drawings (at least for manga fans), mixed with humor, and a great deal of erudition on wine, which makes you want to learn, and of course... to taste. One would have thought that a similar kind of book, dedicated to wine, would have come out in France, in all logic. But no, once again it's the Japanese who have beaten us to it. The first volume of the series came out on November 18, 2004. And yes, the series is already long over (June 12, 2014) with 44 volumes to its credit.<\/p>\n
