Chablis Premier Cru Butteaux 2009 - Raveneau
Domaine Raveneau
The Climat "Butteau": 40 hectares at the southwestern tip of Montmains, and producers often use this last appellation. Strong wines that are long on the palate, whose substantial substance will go better with meat than with fish or shellfish dishes.
"The 2009 Chablis Butteaux shows yet another dimension of what Chablis can be. Dark, pungent aromas and flavors lead to a generous core of fruit. Some rough edges remain, especially on the finish, but this is, nevertheless, a strong effort."
Drink until 2024 or later.
