When to drink this wine : 2018 - 2030

Tasted by Joe Czerwinski in 2018: "A terrific example of a successful vintage for the estate: About 40% were de-stemmed by hand in this vintage, with the fruit coming from 40 different parcels around the appellation. Floral and raspberry notes emerge on the nose, while the palate is powerful with a silky texture, finishing with subtle hints of Provencal herbs and liquorice. This is a relative bargain that is easy to drink now, but should easily last a decade or more in a cool cellar." 

  

  • Production: 30,000 to 50,000 per year.
  • Terroir: Clay-limestone soil with pebbles. Mixture of all types of soil in the appellation (pebbles, clay, sand).
  • Old vines aged between 45 and 50 years.
  • Grape varieties: 75% Grenache Noir, 11% Mourvèdre, 11% Syrah and 3% Vaccarèse, Counoise, Cinsault.
