A brief history:

Located in the commune of Villié-Morgon, in the Beaujolais region, this house was built in the 19th century. at 18 th century, and the vault that supports it has been in place since 1722. The estate has now been in existence for eight generations. It is located in the Morgon and has been made from the Gamay grape since the Middle Ages. The children of Louis-Claude Desvignes: Claude-Emmanuelle and Louis Benoît are part of the generation that embodies the domaine. They reflect the spirit  "Vigneron-Paysan a mind that pays attention to the smallest detail. They work hard in the vines, with little intervention in the cellar, and long, parcel-by-parcel maturation in concrete vats to produce straightforward, better wines. Thanks to their hard work, this family was recently awarded its third star.

 

The estate's best wines :

• Morgon Les Impénitents - Louis Claude Fromsvignes :

It shows brilliance, which will appeal to fans of this cuvée, as it is often one of the finest wines in Beaujolais that ages well. It offers a deep bouquet of blackberry, blackcurrant and raspberry, complemented by notes of smoked meat and peony. It is deep with phenomenal concentration, lively acidity and an elegantly muscular chassis of powdery tannins and concludes with a long, penetrating finish.

 

• Morgon Côte du Py Javernières -Louis Claude Desvignes :

In the glass, we notice a young, reserved nose of raspberry, wild plum, spices, white tea and rose petals. Le Morgon is deep and layered, with real concentration, lively acidity and structured, powdery tannins. It is quite tight after its recent bottling. It deserves a few years in the cellar.
