Wine taster and critic Robert Parker retires and announces his successor!

Wine-tasting star and wine critic Robert Parker announces his retirement in a press release issued on april 18.

Considered the world's greatest wine taster and critic, Robert Parker now announces his successor, Neal Martinwhich will provide full critical coverage of Bordeaux en primeur wines from 1 January.^er May 2016.

For 19 years, Neal Martin travels to Bordeaux and tastes the region's wines. In 2003, he launched the online wine magazine Wine Journal. Contributor to Robert Parker Since 2006, Neal has been back on the cover of "The Wine Advocate" for Bordeaux sweet white wines. His award-winning 2012 book "Pomerol", and his participation in the "Wine journal" of the eRobertParker.com website prove his commitment to the Bordeaux region.

Robert Parker assures us that his collaborator is now the most experienced and seasoned veteran to take on the responsibility of tasting Bordeaux wines. In his opinion, it's time for a change in the milieu, and to inject a new generation of young talent.
