At the helm of Château d'Yquem for over 35 years, Alexandre de Lur Saluces has shaped the estate's modern identity, perpetuating unrivalled standards in the production of the world's most famous sweet wine. His personal cellar, preserved in irreproachable conditions, is one of the finest sources of old vintages that we can hope to see one day reappear on the market.
The recent sale of this historic cellar freed up a few bottles; very few; and we were extraordinarily lucky to acquire some of them (Sale conducted by the Daguerre auction house).
