This domain was created thanks to Chantal Lescure and Xavier Machard from Gramont in 1975. It is a family estate which today comprises a 19-hectare vineyard. It lies to the north on the Dijon hillsides and to the south as far as Meursault. It has been certified organic since 2006.

After the death of their mother in 1996, Aymeric and Thibault Machard from Gramont, visit son of Chantal Lescurehave taken over the family estate. They produce 19 cuvées from 35 parcels each year. The philosophy behind this field is quite simple: produce authentic, pure wines that perfectly reflect their terroir. The estate is concerned with the life of the soil, the plant and its environment. They seek optimum maturity through naturally controlled yields. Vinification is gentle and attentive to each terroir. Maturing is long on liein Burgundy pieces and 500-litre barrels (with moderate use of new wood). The wine is bottled without filtration or fining.

  • Vosne Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots- Chantal Lescure :

The main grape variety for this cuvée is Pinot Noir. It is both concentrated and powerful, with a velvety texture typical of the Vosne-Romanée. This is an exceptional premier cru. We recommend tasting it after a few years, or more than 10 years in the best vintages.

 

  • Pommard Les Vignots - Chantal Lescure :

 

It is powerful and delicate, with a balance of fruit, acidity and tannin that gives it the advantage of aging for 10 years. The color is a deep ruby with purple highlights. On the nose, aromas of black fruit mingle with hints of spice. The palate is wrapped in fresh, vibrant fruit. Full-bodied and concentrated, it delivers great refinement and balance between fleshy fruit and a fresh, easily digestible texture. A perfect accompaniment to a Burgundy fondue.

 

 

  • Nuits Saint Georges Les Damodes - Chantal Lescure:

This ruby-red cuvée reveals notes of blackcurrant, liquorice and aniseed on the nose. The palate is full-bodied, greedy and fruity, with fine tannins and a long finish. We recommend waiting a few years before drinking. It can also be kept for up to ten years. Perfect with duck breast or roast lamb.

 

  • Chambolle Musigny Les Mombies - Chantal Lescure :

The colour is ruby with a The nose is fine and complex, but also very fruity, with notes of ripe strawberries and cherries. The palate is complex and amplewith tannins silkywhich gives superb balance and a long, red-fruit finish.
