The estate's great vintages :

  • Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Cuvée Vieilles Vignes - Ponsot :

This is undoubtedly the flagship cuvée of the estate's cellar. It is as introverted as it is reserved. Aromas of peony, plum, cherry, orange peel, warm spices and the flavors of the soil and earth emerge from the glass. It's full-bodied, with enormous concentration, a muscular frame, rich, powdery tannins and a long, resonant finish.

  • Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru - Ponsot :

It is pale gold in its youth, but as it ages, it turns to amber and more yellow nuances. It has an infinite delicacy, the bouquet expressing buttery tones, baked apple, citrus, pineapple, lime blossom, fern, juniper, cinnamon and flint. Honeyed notes are also common. Leather and truffle aromas are reminiscent of older vintages (up to 25-30 years). The concentration of the Chardonnayits distinction and balance. Rarely have we seen such a strong presence of the grape variety directly linked to the character of its terroir.

  • Morée St Denis 1er Cru Cuvée les alouettes - Ponsot :

The majority of the vineyard is planted with Pinot Noir. But some plots are planted with Chardonnay or Pinot Blanc. The color is usually a full, assertive ruby, carmine, intense garnet with purplish highlights. The bouquet features notes of black fruits such as blackcurrant and blueberry, and red stone fruits such as cherry. Other variants include sloe, bramble, violet, carnation, licorice and fruit in brandy.
