The adventure of Domaine Dominique Laurent

The prestige of the estate began in 2006, with Mr. Dominique Laurentrenowned for its wines for the trade. He started out with his son and created the structure in which they exercised the winegrowing profession. For the most part, they rent the vines from the Hagelin-Hayer estateestate of a former winegrower from Vosne-Romanée. Visit Laurent vinify only from unstemmed grapes, and age their wines without sulfur. These are highly refined wines with great depth. These are wines for laying down, among the finest in the region. Nuits-St-Georges 1er cru VV - Aux Damodes

This cuvée is made from very old vines, and no fertilizers are used here. A very deep red, with blackberry and licorice accents. A cuvée that produces deep, invigorating wines, with notes of cranberry, cherry pits, blood oranges, floral notes and spices. Wonderfully fragrant, this wine will take some time to evolve. After that, the fruit will develop wonderfully.

Gevrey Chambertin VV

This cuvée produces wines that are deep, smooth and very well conceived. They offer tons of red fruit and spice. There are hints of fragrant wood, giving them lots of character. These are wines that attack your palate and take their time on the palate. A smoky, toasty finish, the quality is astonishingly supple and silky.

 

Gevrey Chambertin 1er cru - Estournelles St-Jacques

L'Estournelles St-Jacques is a cuvée that produces massively concentrated, thick, intense wines that will require at least 8-10 years in the cellar. An enveloping, spicy, warming wine. It offers woody, tannic accents with notes of black cherry. Fine length. A well-executed modern style.

 

Gevrey Chambertin 1er cru - Lavaux St-Jacques

Dominique Laurent's Lavaux St-Jacques is a cuvée that produces very pure wines. They display astonishing flavors. You'll find notes of black and red berries, contrasting and lively flavors. Accents of mocha, coffee, chocolate and oak. Supple, ripe tannins. A very smooth wine. Very long finish.

Chambolle Musigny VV

A very serious, well-made, rich village wine in which the terroir can be felt. Lots of earth and great concentration of fruit. The wines of this cuvée are structured, with notes of blackberry, black cherry and raspberry. The wines are medium-bodied.

 

Chambolle Musigny - La Combe d'Orveaux

The "La Combe d'Orveaux" cuvée produces wines of great elegance. The main grape variety is pinot noir. It's a full-flavored wine in a classic style. It goes well with duck and other poultry dishes.

Chambolle Musigny - Les Charmes

A very classy, silky wine, with notes of black cherries, cassis and blackberries. It's just spicy enough, toasty, with a hint of oak.

 

Chambolle Musigny - Les Sentiers

Sexy and hedonistic, the wines in this cuvée are full of flavor. Imagine notes of licorice, violets, rose petals and blackcurrant, with subtle oak accents. Delicate, supple, harmonious and well-balanced. Their complexity should appeal to you.

 

Vosnes-Romanée 1er cru VV - Vieilles Vignes Aux Beaumonts

A cuvée that produces well-rounded wines with great volume, notes of black cherry and aromas of blackberry, chocolate and emerging minerals on the finish. Beautifully harmonious, with a touch of spicy oak.

 

Pommard 1er cru - Les Charmots

Slightly dark ruby color. Beautiful, elegant aromas of raspberry, cherry and hints of mocha. This superbly concentrated wine has complex, powerful flavors, with extracts of blackberry, red currant, Asian spices, coffee and herbs. A rather oily texture, a full-bodied, exquisite wine.

Bonnes Mares

With its superb dark color, Bonnes Mares is the estate's most prestigious cuvée and the one that gives birth to one of its most beautiful wines. Burgundy products in general. Concentrated aromas of blackcurrant, violets and blackberry. Amazing flavors, this wine has extraordinary depth, the cherry is really present and we find the tone of the terroir with accents of thick earth intertwined with a mineral component. Full-bodied, incredibly intense, and armed with a prodigious finish.
