Late Harvest Gewurztraminer
Prestige and Collection Wines
For this cuvée, the aim is to achieve the incredible quality of over-ripe grapes, with botrytis or just the impact of the sun: "passerillés". Almost every time Mr. Pierre Trimbach produces Gewurztraminer "Vendanges Tardives", the presence of noble rot is well marked. This gives the wine a bright, full-bodied character. On the other hand, the raisined grapes are more powerful, but with finesse. These wines can be kept for 10 to 15 years, or even longer, depending on the vintage.

Late Harvest Pinot Gris
Prestige and Collection Wines
VT Pinot Gris is produced only in the best vintages. It is very delicate to handle, as the thinness of its skin makes it extremely fragile. This means it is sometimes powerless against rain or other inclement weather, which can lead to grape rot. Legislation governing late harvesting and selection of noble grapes requires a high alcohol content: 15.3%. This wine will also keep for 10 to 15 years or more, depending on the vintage.
