Hello everyone,
For years now, I've been trying to revisit a scene from a film about wine that I only partially remember: a retired policeman (?), widower (?), depressive, has inherited (?) a monumental cellar filled with a plethora of the most diverse grands crus. Now an alcoholic, he explains to his interlocutor his strategy for emptying the cellar, and the various choices initially open to him (by appellation? by date? by type of wine?).
It seems to me that this is a French crime thriller, perhaps from the 1970s (or 1980s), with a great actor of the time in the role of the cellar owner. I'd thought of Noiret or Serrault, but I've studied their entire filmography and haven't seen anything that fits. Does anyone have any ideas?
Yours sincerely
