How has this ranking evolved?

In 2019, Mouton Rothschild has overtaken its neighbor, Lafite. The Château Lafite Rothschild still tops the list of the most sought-after wines of all time, but the gap is gradually closing.

Only three candidates are likely to make it into the top 10 most sought-after wines of all time. The illustrious Domaine de la Romanée-Conti currently occupies 11th position, and is challenging Opus One to replace it. Cheval Blanc in the near future. Lynch-Bages5th Grand Cru, is neck and neck with Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, although it is not gaining ground in the top 10 as quickly as its rival.
