Cuvée de la Reine des Bois 2005 in Magnum - Domaine de la Mordorée
Domaine de la Mordorée - Châteauneuf du Pape
TASTING
97/100 Parker
Maturity: 2015 - 2030
Commented Jeb Dunnuck in 2015: "The Delorme brother's 2005 Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvée de la Reine des Bois has been incredibly consistent for me, and is still a 90+ wine. This big, full-bodied, structured wine has an inky purple colour and an outstanding bouquet of ripe black fruits, roasted spices, graphite, chocolate, and garrigue. Composed of 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre, and 5% Vaccarese, aged 30% in barrel and 70% in stainless steel, it will have another 10-15 years to live."
