It is one of the oldest wine estates in Bordeaux, and probably the first to make wine under its own name, with vinification underway about 100 years before its first growing peers. This great wine will need at least ten years to reach its peak, or even more depending on the quality of the vintage. Do not hesitate to open the bottle a few hours in advance before tasting it. An old vintage should not be carrafed. After that, all you have to do is enjoy your tasting. Notice the evolution of the aromas on the nose and in the mouth.
