One of the superstars of Cornas is the Domaine Alain Voge. In the best vintages, three cuvées are produced, but generally only two are produced, Vieilles Vignes and Les Chailles, from the 15+ acres of Voge Syrah planted on the decaying granite slopes of Cornas. It also produces small quantities of Saint-Joseph and up to four vintages of Saint-Peray white wine, including a sparkling white. The family has 10 hectares of vines in this appellation, planted with 95% Marsanne and 5% Roussanne. Voge is also a leader in the production of serious white wines from the rising micro-appellation of Saint-Peray. A top-end white wine from Rhône. Voge's real glories are its extraordinary offerings of Cornas. The three Cornas 2010 represent the peak of Voge winemaking.
