Discover the Delas Frères estate

Domaine Delas was founded more than 160 years ago and was bought by the Champagne House Deutz in 1977. In 1993, Deutz was absorbed by Louis Roederer, who still owns and manages this family estate in the niche of the Rhône. The estate grows vines on the steep granite slopes of northern Rhône in some of the most prestigious appellations in the region. Additional grapes are supplied under long-term agreements with the producers of Rhône elaborated by the winemaker Jacques Grange (originally from Burgundy) to embody finesse and elegance, recent vintages from the vineyards of l'Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côte Rôtie, Condrieu, Côtes-du-Rhône and Côtes-du-Ventoux has received further praise for its intensity of flavour and excellent value. The "Domaine des Tourettes" is about 10 ha. Mainly a blend of two terroirs, the prestigious terroir known as Les Bessards (itself comprising several "lieux-dits") and the Grandes Vignes, "Domaine des Tourettes" is described as a rich wine with a certain complexity (100% Syrah) and which expresses the nobility of the granite subsoil of this part of the AOC.
