2013 is a very varied vintage. A cool, wet spring delayed everything and hailstorms devastated several regions. In some regions, the harvest came early to avoid the autumn rains. Still, note the very good results for Pessac-Léognan. Delicious Sauternes for 2013 as well, not forgetting the Pomerols. Burgundy's elite in 2013 are Morey Saint Denis and Chambolle-Musigny. In the Rhône, Cornas had a very good year. Alsace wines are lighter this year. The Gewurztraminer are doing well. But the elite of this vintage is above all Languedoc-Roussillon with sumptuous reds and whites.
