Amour de Deutz Brut Rosé 2013
House Deutz - Champagne Rosé
Note : 97/100 James Suckling
- Cellaring : Can be drunk now, but can also be cellared until 2031. This is a great Champagne Rosé for ageing.
- Tasting by A.N. in 2021: "A mouth-watering rosé, with grace and vitality, it is also beautifully textured, like a cashmere wrap on the palate. A hint of mineral chalk and smoke underline a seductive array of ripe melon, pink grapefruit sorbet, candied ginger and wild strawberry flavours that resonate on the juicy finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Drink now through 2031." - AN
- Grape varieties: 57% Pinot Noir from the terroirs of Aÿ, Verzenay, Ambonnay and Bouzy, and 43% Chardonnay from Avize, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Chouilly and Villers-Marmery. Then 6% of red wine made by Deutz from two parcels of old Pinot Noirs vines located in Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ.
- Wine and food pairing : L'Amour de Deutz Rosé from the famous Deutz Champagne House is a superb sparkling rosé wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif, or with seafood or fish dishes.
