Characteristics of the cuvée :
"Richebourg is one of the most sumptuous wines of Burgundy." Camille Rodier
The nose is delicate and somewhat restrained. On the palate, the tannins are of a rare finesse, with a power that gradually settles in, and always this caressing touch and in the sense of length, which finishes on a pleasant slightly liquorice flavour.
The grapes are hand-picked when perfectly ripe. The vinification is very traditional, with long maturation in barrels of different ages, so that the wood does not take precedence over the expression of the terroir, which makes this wine a real jewel.
The average annual production varies from 8,000 to 15,000 bottles depending on the vintage. Marketing is carried out by the estate, on allocation. For this vintage, the production was 13,369 bottles.
