Saint Emilion Grand cru
Château Ferrand Lartigue is a wine produced in the Bordeaux region, in the Saint-Émilion appellation, which is renowned for its high quality red wines.
Tasting notes:
Château Ferrand Lartigue is generally described as an elegant and balanced red wine. It features aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry, raspberry and plum, as well as notes of cedar, tobacco, leather and licorice. On the palate, it offers a beautiful tannic structure which gives it a certain complexity, with silky tannins and a lingering finish. This wine can have a slightly spicy and woody character thanks to its aging in oak barrels.
Grape variety:
Château Ferrand Lartigue is mainly made from the Merlot grape variety, which is typical of the Saint-Émilion region. Merlot brings a velvety texture and aromas of ripe fruit to the wine. It is often complemented by other Bordeaux grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, which add structure and complexity to the blend.
Food and wine pairings:
This wine goes well with many dishes, especially those based on red meat, lamb, duck or game. It is also delicious with soft cheeses such as Camembert or Brie. The fruity flavors and balanced tannins of Château Ferrand Lartigue make it an excellent choice to accompany roasted dishes, grilled steaks, dishes with tomato sauce or mushroom dishes.
Operating temperature :
To fully appreciate the flavors of this wine, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 16 to 18 degrees.
