Côte du Vivarais - Alain Gallety 

 

Syrah 50%, Grenache 50%. Vines from 40 to 45 years old. Yields of 25hl/ha. Hand-picked, 21 days maceration in vats, then aged in oak barrels for 14 to 15 months.

A racy wine, with great drinkability and a generous aroma of black fruits. Preferably open the bottle 1 hour in advance. Cellaring potential of about ten years.
