Buy a bottle of Corton Grand Cru Les Rognets 2021 - Arnoux Père et Fils
Great wine from domaine Arnoux Père et Fils
TASTING NOTES
- Opinion: Ripe and fleshy in texture, this red finds a nice balance between its black cherry, plum, oak spice and earth flavors and ample acidity, which keeps it focused and resonant on the finish. Silky and long on the palate.
- Grape variety : Pinot Noir.
- When to drink this wine : Drink from 2027 to 2040+.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Location : Overlooking the village of Ladoix-Serrigny, our 1/3 hectare parcel is located on the mountain of Corton where prestigious Burgundy terroirs are spread out.
- Terroir : facing south-east/south-west, this hillside offers a reddish and stony soil, brown limestone, rich in marls where it allows the Pinot Noir to express itself fully.
- Age of the vines : 40 years.
- Vinification : Manual harvest - Vatting time of about 20 days then maturing in oak barrels for 12 months - 3 to 4 months in stainless steel tanks then bottling.
- Service : Young or old, it should be drunk at a temperature of 15 to 16°C. Before 8 years, the use of a decanter is recommended for a contribution of oxygen and a good development of the aromas.
- Pairings : With a beautiful power and a great aromatic complexity, it will be a very good alliance with red meats, roasted or in sauce, game or cheeses of character.
