Château Beau-Séjour-Bécot 2010
1er Grand Cru Classé de St Emilion
95/100 - James Suckling
A marvelous nose revealing a profusion of dark chocolate, plums, and hints of coffee. Upon aeration, it reveals aromas of orange peel, leather, and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rounded, with magnificent fruit and smooth tannins with powdery accents. The finish is long and sumptuous, with a remarkably silky texture.
Blend :
Château Beau-Séjour Bécot is generally made from a blend of traditional Bordeaux grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc and sometimes a little Cabernet Sauvignon. This gives the wine its complexity and unique character.
