Saint Julien - 4th Grand Cru Classé
Château Beychevelle is a Bordeaux wine produced in the famous Saint-Julien wine-growing region on the left bank of the Gironde. The estate is classified as the fourth Grand Cru in the official 1855 classification, making it one of the most prestigious vineyards in the region.
Serving temperature :
Château Beychevelle is generally served at a temperature of between 16°C and 18°C. This allows the wine to express itself fully and reveal its aromas and flavours.
Aeration:
Before serving this wine, we recommend decanting it for at least an hour to allow it to open up and air out. This will allow the aromas to develop and reach their full potential.
This wine is often enjoyed with red meat dishes, such as steak, roast beef or lamb. It can also be enjoyed with hard cheeses.
Taste characteristics :
Château Beychevelle is an elegant, well-balanced, full-bodied wine. It has aromas of ripe red fruit, blackcurrant and black cherry, with occasional hints of cedar, tobacco and vanilla due to the oak ageing process. On the palate, it has a fine tannic structure, lively acidity and a long finish.
