Chablis 1er Cru Les Vaillons 2022 - Billaud Simon
Wines directly from the Billaud Simon estate
PRESENTATION OF THE CUVÉE
Ageing potential: To be drunk between 2023 and 2035.
Tasting: A pretty wine with notes of fresh peach, honeysuckle and white currant. It is pure and precise, with a fruity attack and texture. Like most of the wines in the range, it should be kept for a few years.
The estate says: "Vaillons comes from "petite vallée", "vallon", which by deformation, gave "Vaillon". The ancients used to say a "valson". "Vaillons" therefore comes from the Latin vallis or valles "elongated space between two elevated areas".
Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay
Service: ideal temperature between 10 and 12 °C.
