LOCATION AND GEOLOGY
Located north of Chambolle Musigny, on the flat area immediately below Les Fuées. The soil is clayey and deeper, with a high percentage of marl.
AGE OF THE VINEYARDS
Average of 25 years
YIELD AND PRODUCTION
From 30 to 35 hl/ha for an average of 1200 bottles per year.
The wines of Chambolle are above all models of elegance and finesse: with a medium colour, they release voluminous aromas of raspberry, candied strawberry, violet and undergrowth. Their body is marked by fine tannins associated with softness. Not very acidic, they impose themselves by their fleshiness. The Premier Crus are more concentrated and often firmer.
