2017 Tasting Note by Neal Martin: "The 2014 La Laguna is a wine that showed extremely well when I tasted it in barrel. Now in bottle, it has a very well-defined, fairly intense bouquet with blackberry, cedar and feathery aromas - classic in style, showing impressive aging. The palate is very well balanced, with fine tannins, bright, vibrant black fruits, graphite notes, fine minerality and a Pauillac-like finish. You know, I think this wine might even surpass the 2015 La Lagune...let's see. It's excellent. "
