Tasted by Lisa Perrotti-Brown in 2020: "Le Pin 2010 is 100% Merlot. Deep garnet, it bursts from the glass with hedonic, unbridled notions of baked plums, Black Forest cake, Chinese five-spice and blueberry pie, as well as smoked meat, candied violets, dark chocolate and cigar box. Medium-bodied, the palate exudes layers of slowly ripening black and blue berries, framed by firm, very soft tannins and great freshness, and finishes with incredible length and depth. Already magnificent, this magnificent baby has a very long life ahead of it!"
