A deeper, richer version of the Cuvée Réservée, the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée da Capo 2007 is one of the youngest, most concentrated wines of this vintage.Produced mainly from the La Crau vineyard and composed of over 90% Grenache, aged in an old foudre, its deep ruby color opens up to a veritable festival of Provencal aromas and flavors: garrigue, dried meats, incense, oxblood, blackcurrant and pepper.
Pégau Da Capo, the signature product of Domaine du Pégau in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, is a treasure trove for all lovers of fine wines. This rare wine, made from the appellation's oldest vines, is a veritable symphony of aromas. To serve it, set the ideal temperature between 16 and 18°C and allow it to air for 1 to 2 hours in a carafe to reveal all its complexity. This attention will sublimate its intense notes of ripe black fruits, garrigue and spices, supported by an elegant structure and silky tannins. With its exceptional ageing potential, it's the perfect gift idea for lovers of exceptional wines.
Pégau Da Capo draws its character from a typical Châteauneuf-du-Pape blend, dominated by Grenache, accompanied by Syrah, Mourvèdre and other traditional grape varieties. On tasting, expect a unique sensory experience: deep aromas of plum, licorice and truffle mingle with hints of leather and undergrowth, offering remarkable depth and length on the palate. This exceptional wine is a true ode to the savoir-faire of Domaine du Pégau, to be offered as a gift or savored for a unique moment.
