- Tasting : Pale lemon gold in color, the 2011 Climens opens with notions of glued flint and earth over a core of tropical fruit - pineapple and guava - plus mushroom and fresh straw wafts. The palate has a multitude of complex layers, with plenty of botrytis-inspired complexity that melds with the ripe tropical notes and finishes with great length. Tempting to drink now, it should reward 20+ years of cellaring.
