Cornas 2008 Reynard - Thierry Allemand
Old Rhone vintages in stock
93/100 Parker
- When to drink this wine? A mature wine - Can be drunk now.
- Tasted by Jeb Dunnuck: "A beautiful Syrah, especially in this vintage, the 2008 Cornas Reynard has a gorgeous perfume of bacon fat, wild herbs, saddle leather and crushed flowers that is supported by a vibrant core of black and red berry-like fruit. Homogenous and pure, with impeccable balance, integrated acidity and a classy finish, it opened up over the course of the evening and is already approachable and complex. It will no doubt evolve gracefully for 10-12 years, but there is no harm in drinking it now." (tasted in 2013)."
