Côte-Rotie " La Germine " 2014 - Duclaux
Domaine Benjamin and David DUCLAUX
The Cuvée La Germine is the main cuvée of the estate. It is a typical example of the Côte-Rôtie appellation from the south.

It comes from several so-called places (Coteau de Tupin, Tupin, le collet, Maison-Rouge, Coteau de Bassenon) all located on a Gneiss or Migmatite bedrock.
This cuvée, both complete and well-balanced, expresses first and foremost the elegance of the Côte-Rôtie appellation.
Yield: 25 hl/ha Vinification: hand-picked. 100% de-stemmed, 3 weeks maceration in temperature-controlled vats.
Ageing: 20 months in barrels and demi-muids, 20% of which are new barrels.
