Comte Armand - Domaine des Epeneaux

 

The Domaine des Epeneaux owes its name to the Clos des Epeneaux, magnificent five-hectare plot of land created by Nicolas Marey at the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century
In 1828, the Clos des Epeneaux and its buildings, located in the centre of the village of Pommard and known as the Fief of Rancy, are now part of the Comte Armand's family heritage.

The Domaine remained in this way until 1994, when it was first extended with vines located at Volnay and then with plots from the village of Auxey-Duresses.
Today, the Domaine des Epeneaux extends over a total surface area of 9 hectares and strives to produce wines that are, for everyone, the faithful expression of their terroir.
