- Tasting note: "Much better than we expected: it melts in the mouth, with wonderful aromas and flavours of black liquorice, tar and coffee, lots of fruit and tannins. Drink now" James Suckling
- Blend/Varietal: Made up of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot.
Tasting notes from the cellar master of Château Dauzac: The color is clear and dark plum. The nose has notes of sweet blackcurrant, crushed prunes with candied aromas. The mouth is full-bodied and dense with spicy aromas where notes of liquorice, pepper and vanilla are mixed. The finish is fresh with notes of eucalyptus. The aromatic richness is impressive in this Ch. Dauzac 1982
