Origin of production: commune of Pont d'Isère and Mercurol
Grape Variety: 100% Syrah Yield: 42 hl/ha
Soil: very stony red sandy clay soil.
Viticulture: Organic manure, natural and reasoned sanitary protection, short pruning, leaf thinning, green harvest if necessary and manual harvesting.
Vinification: Traditional in closed vats with temperature control, total destemming, daily pumping over, punching down, final hot maceration, 3 weeks vatting with indigenous yeasts.
Ageing: entirely in oak barrels for 14 months with barrels from 2 to 5 years old in equal parts.
