- Vintage 2020 : balanced between strong heat and beneficial rains. Grapes reached ideal maturity without too much stress.
GRAPE VARIETIES, CULTURE AND CHARACTER
- 50% Clairette, 20% Ugni Blanc, 20% Bourboulenc, 5% Rolle and 5% Marsanne
- Clay-limestone soil from the Triassic period, with a northern exposure that gives tension and freshness.
- Organic culture of origin, organic life of the soil preserved, natural grassing.
- Average yield 35-40 hectoliters/ hectare, hand harvested and sorted.
- Potential for aging and evolution of flavors, 10-15 years
TASTING
- Its first delicate nose of conference pear and pineapple skin then reveals a great freshness in the heart of the glass with notes of white peach and lychee.
- Its mouth is all in balance, of a beautiful roundness slightly opulent. - These subtle bitters are coated by the sweetness and salinity, suggesting its great potential.
- Serving temperature 10 - 12 °c
SERVE
- When : freshness, tension and minerality in youth and also magnificent in the keeping for who has the patience (10/15 years)
- With what : As pleasant as an aperitif as during dinner, of course with all seafood dishes but also with white meats, goat cheese and red fruit desserts, for example.
