Château Ducru Beaucaillou 1990
Saint-Julien - 2ème Grand Cru Classé
- Rating: 91/100 Parker
- Tasting notes by Lisa Perrotti-Brown: "The harvest this year took place from September 23 to October 8. The wine was aged for approximately 12 months in two-thirds new oak. Medium-brown in color, the 1990 Ducru-Beaucaillou is quite evolved, offering notions of incense, tree bark, tilled earth, and tobacco with hints of candied plums, kirsch, tapenade, and leather. Medium to full-bodied, the palate still has a good amount of weedy fruit and earth, with some chewiness in the texture and a cooked tea finish."
- Cellaring: 2020 - 2028
