Champagne Henriot Brut Rosé
From the estate
94/100 Wine Spectator
Tasting note: A rich, toasty version, with notes of toasted almonds, brioche, honey and graphite. Vibrant acidity and finely textured pearl keep this mouthwatering and light, carrying flavours of dried cherry, wild strawberry and liquorice. Drink now.
Presentation: Obtained by adding red pinot noir to the blend, this cuvée is made with pinot noir from the Montagne de Reims (50%), complemented by pinot meunier (10%), while retaining the fresh minerality of chardonnay (40%). The Brut Rosé Henriot is made with the precious reserve wines of the House, up to 35%. Each bottle then rests in the calm and coolness of the cellars of Reims for 3 years. This cuvée is dosed at less than 9g/l. The Brut Rosé blends include a small proportion of Cuve 38. This wine, made as a perpetual reserve from 100% Grands Crus of Chardonnays, is an exclusive of the House and expresses the quintessence of its know-how and originality.
