“The Graacher Himmelreich Auslese 2022 (Capsule d'Or) is clear, precise and clayey with a fresh, spicy, finely tannic nose that reveals very fine aromas of raisins and preserved lemon. Intense, lush and savory on the palate, this is a rich, intense Auslese, pungent, greedy but also grippy and mineral, with very fine botrytis traits on both nose and palate, and a generous, refined texture. The finish is stimulating, saline and crystalline in its expression of crunchy slate and lemony fruit. This is a great Auslese that needs a decade to show all its talents. 7.5% declared alcohol.
