In this whole unit that is Pomerol is discovered a multitude of micro-local particularities. The singularity of Château Le Bon Pasteur - with a total surface area of 6.7 hectares - is to be located on the border of the two great terroirs, Pomerol and Saint-Emilion. Unlike the great châteaux of the Médoc, the vineyard is not continuous but is spread over 21 registered plots. This mosaic of identities gives the wine all its complexity: density of colour, delicacy of the bouquet, softness of the Pomerol wines, but also generous and full-bodied character borrowed from Saint-Emilion wines.
