NOTATION : 92/100 Robert Parker - 94/100 James Suckling
Cellaring: 2018 - 2033
Tasted by Neal Martin on June 31, 2017 : "Tasted at BI Wine & Spirits' 10-year anniversary tasting, the 2007 Mouton-Rothschild offers classic tobacco and cigar box aromas on the nose, very well defined with black fruits unfolding in the glass. Again, as in the bottle presented at the vertical in May of last year, there is an element of Pessac-Léognan in the nose, just a hint of warm gravel. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, quite compact with a quadrangular finish of blackberry, tobacco and a pinch of white pepper."
TERROIR
The 2007 Mouton Rothschild is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot.
