Château Palmer 1967
Margaux - 3rd Grand Cru Rated
87/100 Parker
Maturity: You could drink it now
By Robert M. Parker in 1998: "This wine was a revelation of the vintage - a surprisingly delicious wine. The tasting revealed an elegantly styled Bordeaux cru that seems incapable of being replicated in the New World. A garnet color. A sweet nose of cedar, fruit cake, berries and tobacco. A certain liveliness that seems unusual for the vintage. I have half a dozen tasting notes for the 1967, and they reveal that I have always found it to be a charming, light, but delicious Bordeaux."
