Crozes Hermitage Mule Blanche 1975 - Paul Jaboulet Aîné
Grapes: A barrel-fermented blend of 50% Marsanne and 50% Roussanne.
Tasting: The Crozes Hermitage Domaine Mule Blanche is a wonderful example of what these varieties can do when grown in the right place and vinified with care. Sweet scents of toasted grain float into the glass, along with notes of marshmallow and melon. It's full-bodied and richly textured, with pineapple, crème brûlée and citrus notes on the long finish.
Cellaring: Drink young after decanting, or drink well for up to 7 years.
